SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR

About the role

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 INDEFINITE EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number D1296000 and is part of the CO CSMS 07, National Guard. The purpose of this position is to serve as a Full Assistant to a supervisor who has responsibility for providing overall direction and coordination of subordinate work activities and functions.

What you will do

• Provides direct input or participates in meetings and/or conferences with engineering, production control, and other personnel involving the initial analysis of long-range work requirements.
• Work Direction: Assigns and explains work requirements and operating instructions to subordinate supervisors, sets deadlines, and establishes the sequence of work operations to be followed.
• Administration: Develops and establishes internal procedures (e.g., meetings, content, and timing of reports) to be followed by subordinate supervisors to assure effective control and direction of work activities, organizations, and personnel supervised.
• Develops, publishes, and ensures employee compliance with standing operating procedures for the activity supervised.
• Prepares for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Education cannot be substituted for Specialized Experience for this position.
