THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (POLICY AND PLANNING), Position Description Number D2467P01 and is part of the PA Deputy Chief of Staff G6, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement.

What you will do

• As a SUPV IT SPECIALIST, GS-2210-13, you will supervisor and senior team lead for mission command division.
• Maintain effective rapport with subordinate unit G6/S6 personnel, and agency representatives, ensure unified efforts in communication support.
• Support readiness through interactions with both supported units and supporting agencies.
• Subject Matter Expertise and currency.
• Provide or coordinate training to subordinate personnel to maintain their proficiency on systems specific to the supported units.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Discontinued service retirement annuitants (i.e., retired under section 8336(d)(1) or 8414(b)(1)(A) of title 5 United States Code) appointed to the Department of Defense may elect to be subject to retirement provisions of the new appointment as appropriate.
