About the Position: Works at a remote field site independently, but under the general supervision of the Chief, Operations Division who directs higher command guidance and makes assignments in terms of ongoing mission requirements for District program responsibilities within the area of responsibility including the Okeechobee Waterway (OWW), Central and Southern Florida (C&SF), and Canaveral (CAH) Projects.

What you will do

• Manages a large, geographically dispersed, multi-disciplined professional, technical, administrative and wage grade workforce.
• Outlines overall program requirements and objectives to subordinate supervisors and coordinates and monitors the execution of assigned functions.
• Plans, implements, and accomplishes program objectives with a high degree of independence at the operating project office Serves as the Branch Chief, and Operations Project Manager for the South Florida Operations Office Branch, including the projects within the Okeechobee Waterway (OWW), Central and Southern Florida (C and SF), and Canaveral Lock (CAH) projects.
• Communicates and resolves controversial issues between varying entities both internal and external to the organization to successfully accomplish objectives.
