THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTER, Position Description Number D2320000 and is part of the HI 154 MXS, National Guard. LOCATION: 154th Maintenance Squadron, Hawaii Air National Guard, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii

What you will do

• The primary purpose of this position is to inspect aerospace weapon systems components and support equipment for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis.
• Determines test method, and prepares fluids and parts for nondestructive inspection.
• Performs nondestructive inspection on structures, components, and systems.
• Applies magnetic particle and/or liquid penetrant inspection to detect and interpret the relevancy of flaws in a variety of parts.
• Uses and maintains tools.
• Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintains records and documents actions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
