About the role

You will serve as a GG-0132-13 Intelligence Specialist for Joint Interagency Task Force West (JIATF West) in Houston, TX.

As a counter-narcotics intelligence analyst, you will be responsible for complex, all-source, predictive analysis, production, and dissemination of counter-drug, narco-terrorism, and transnational criminal organization intelligence within the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility.

What you will do

  • You will conduct illicit chemicals, narcotics, and related commodities-focused intelligence analysis, to include programming, planning, execution, and assessment in support of Joint Interagency Task Force West (JIATF West).
  • You will provide analysis of current, operational, and strategic intelligence to contribute to the understanding of transnational criminal organizations.
  • You will analyze all-source intelligence analysis and communicate findings in both written and verbal forms as required.
  • You will routinely develop and brief JIATF West intelligence products to senior members of the Department of Defense, U.S. and partner nation law enforcement agencies, and other intelligence agencies.
  • You will conduct analytic coordination with other intelligence analysts both within JIATF West and across the Intelligence Community.
  • You will represent JIATF West at local, national, and international intelligence community meetings and conferences.
