THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC, Position Description Number D1438000 and is part of the 174TH ATKW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.

What you will do

  • As a AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC (WG-6652-10), you will provide on- and/or off-equipment troubleshooting and repair capability of weapons release and gun systems; verifies and analyzes malfunctions; troubleshoots, tests, inspects and loads/ unloads conventional munitions; installs/removes weapons delivery equipment, launchers and gun systems.
  • Secondary duties required involve weapons expediting on the flight line.

  • You must submit an SF-50(s) that shows permanent career or career conditional tenure to be considered (No award SF-50 will be accepted).
  • Your last Federal performance appraisal plan must reflect a rating of Fully Successful or equivalent.

What to expect next
