THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a Training Technician, Position Description Number D2509000 and is part of the NH 157th Maintenance Group, National Guard. This vacancy is to gather applications that may or may not result in a referral or selection. Technician announcement is advertised in conjunction with AGR Announcement NHANG-26-005.

  • The primary purpose of this position is to initiate, research, develop, manage, and control training programs.

How you will be evaluated

Once the announcement has closed, your resume and supporting documentation will be used to determine if you meet the qualifications listed on this announcement. If you are minimally qualified, your resume and supporting documentation will be compared to your responses on the assessment questionnaire to determine your level of experience.

If you rate yourself higher than is supported by your application package, your responses may be adjusted and/or you may be excluded from consideration for this position. If you are found to be among the top qualified candidates, you will be referred to the selecting official for employment consideration.

  • Prior/current Federal employees are required to submit their most recent SF 50 with their packet.
  • The SF-50(s) must reflect the highest grade and step held in Federal Service that demonstrates one year time in grade.
  • A complete application package, including all supporting documents (i.e., resumes, copies of transcripts if required, licenses, All FAA Certifications and Credentials, and any other supporting documents etc.), must be submitted by 11:59 PM (EST) on the closing date of the announcement to receive consideration.
  • Copies of transcripts (if required) must be provided at the time of submission with the application packet.
  • Failure to do so will result in the applicant not being considered for the position.
  • Selected individual may be required to provide official transcripts prior to placement into this position.

What to expect next

This is an Indefinite/Temporary appointment, with a time limit determined by the needs f the agency. Current technicians selected will retain the appointment status they are currently in, (i.e., Permanent or Indefinite) and will be placed on a temporary promotion or other appropriate personnel action if selected for this position.

Individuals from Area II and Area III will be appointed indefinite status not to convert. Conversion to permanent status may be accomplished when permanent funding is available.
