About the role

This National Guard position is for a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number NGD1960000 and is part of 114 LRS SQ. This is a permanent Title 32, Dual-Status position. AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: - All members of the South Dakota Air National Guard or eligible to join.

What you will do

  • This position is located in the Distribution Section of the Deployment and Distribution Flight, Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group, at an ANG Aviation Wing.
  • The purpose of this position is to serve as a Distribution Manager, which provides technical expertise and support relating to the movement of equipment, supplies, and personnel for both peacetime and wartime.
  • Manages, directs, develops, plans, and analyzes deployment and distribution management programs.

EVALUATION METHODS: Each applicant considered to possess the minimum qualification requirements will be further evaluated in accordance with the procedures outlined in SDNG Technician Pamphlet 335-T and subsequent MOAs.
