About the role
This National Guard position is for a THEATER AEROSPACE OPERATIONS COMMAND AND CONTROL OFFICER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1504PFL and is part of the FL HQ 101 AOG, National Guard.
What you will do
- As a Theater Aerospace Operations Command and Control Officer, GS-2101-12, you will administer refresher and advanced training to ANG military AOC weapons systems positional specialists.
- Instructs rated pilots, navigators, air battle managers, space operations specialists, and other AOC assigned personnel in advanced aerospace operations applications using current AOC systems of record.
- Instructs and evaluates all AOC specialists to become instructors.
- Instructs such personnel to function within established joint doctrinal principles to plan and prosecute theater-level joint operations.
- Monitors progress during training and advises when AOC personnel are ready for positional certification.
