Main duties

  • As a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/NETWORK) GS-2210-12, you will serve as Computer Network Operations (CNO) Team Chief, supervising a team of specialists ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems, networks, and data through the enhancement of Department of Defense (DoD) information systems security programs, policies, procedures and tools.
  • Enhancement of information systems security programs, procedures, and tools are specifically accomplished by conducting vulnerability assessments and operations of planned and installed information systems and ensuring all protection needs are met.

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/NETWORK), Position Description Number D1748000 and is part of the KS 184 Wing, National Guard.

What you will do

  • As a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/NETWORK) GS-2210-12, you will serve as Computer Network Operations (CNO) Team Chief, supervising a team of specialists ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems, networks, and data through the enhancement of Department of Defense (DoD) information systems security programs, policies, procedures and tools.
  • Enhancement of information systems security programs, procedures, and tools are specifically accomplished by conducting vulnerability assessments and operations of planned and installed information systems and ensuring all protection needs are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What to expect next
