About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at Martin Army Community Hospital located at Fort Benning, Georgia. A recruitment or relocation incentive is authorized (if applicable) Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service Enhanced Leave Accrual may be authorized This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

What you will do

  • Confirm adherence to physical security requirements within a medical treatment facility (MTF).
  • Provide guidance to management officials on physical security programs best suited for the MTF.
  • Resolve issues that involve law enforcement and physical security requirements to the MTF.
  • Plan and assign work to subordinates including establishment of priorities and project timelines.
  • Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) and Bio-Surety programs for a MTF.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in antiterrorism and physical security such as: responding to program changes and resolving major conflicts within a MTF.
  • Provide guidance on security matters related to foreign personnel and/or visitors at the MTF.
  • Provide administrative and regulatory guidance on findings and recommendations related to intelligence.
  • Communicate with local community's leadership and counterparts on matters where force protection and security concerns exist that will impact the MTF.

Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement.
