Oversees efforts of assigned military, civilian, and contractor engineers engaged in the development test and evaluation of JSE system architecture to support the digital test and training range for the organization.

What you will do

• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
• Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
• Serves as the technical focal point in the development of the JSE digital test range, to direct, oversee, and integrate the efforts of military and civilian engineers assigned to develop and operate JSE.
• Formulates, directs, interprets, and applies test philosophy and policy for the organization to ensure technical validity, efficiency, safety and credibility in test and evaluation of the aerospace system and subsystems.
• Provides technical leadership to civilian, military and support contractor personnel engaged in executing the responsibilities assigned to JSE.

• The certification memo must originate from the member's military service branch on official letterhead and contain the following: Name/Rank/Grade of Service Member Branch of Armed Forces Dates of Active Service (Start and End Date(s) Expected Date of Discharge/Release from Active Duty Terminal leave start date (if applicable) Expected character of service/discharge and type of separation (i.e. separation or retirement) Must be certified within 120 days of anticipated discharge Signature by, or by direction of the adjutant, personnel office, unit commander, or higher headquarters commander.
• Note: The VOW Act provides tentative preference.
• If appointed, a DD Form 214 must be submitted upon receipt.
