The position(s) covered by this vacancy announcement is in the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). For more information please see: AcqDemo This position is part of the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA).
The incumbent serves as the principal adviser to the DMEA Director, Deputy Director, Director's Action Group Chief, and Contracting Division Chief on all small business program matters.

- Conducts comprehensive reviews of acquisition strategies, solicitations, and contract awards to ensure fair consideration for small business concerns.
- Represents DMEA at conferences, meetings, and outreach events to advocate for and promote opportunities for the small business community.
- Analyzes program performance, prepares detailed reports, and provides briefings to leadership on small business achievements, challenges, and trends.
- Provides training and guidance to contracting officers and program managers on small business-related procurement regulations and best practices.

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Agency's interest. Remote work is not authorized. ACQUISITION POSITION: This position requires a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Foundational - Contracting Professional level certification.
