About the Position: Serve as Program Executive for the overall VA John J. Cochran Veterans Hospital major design and construction program, responsible for all facets of customer interface and program execution.

What you will do

  • Manage and execute major design and construction programs through planning, coordination, and oversight.
  • Monitor fiscal progress and analyze deviations to maintain schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
  • Supervise and guide professional and technical staff in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Interface with customers and stakeholders to represent District leadership and resolve issues.
  • Review and approve project management plans, resource allocations, and contract administration activities.
  • Implement and enforce safety programs and promote partnering concepts to resolve disputes.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest. Situational Telework may be authorized at the discretion of the agency. This position has been designated as performing Project and/or Program Management functions. In accordance with USACE policy and the Program and Project Management Career Development Plan (CDP), Program and Project Managers are required to achieve, at minimum, Level 1 CDP internal qualification.
