What you will do

• This position is located at the ANG Wing with/or without geographically separated units (GSU)/ ARNG Region located in a State that is divided into multiple regions (within the State) not servicing one specific BDE.
• This position serves as the implementer of the Integrated Primary Prevention (IPP) Program.
• Due to the specialty nature of these roles this position reports to the Joint Force Headquarter Primary Prevention Officer.
• The primary purpose of this position is to implement and support integrated prevention programs.
• It collaboratively identifies, implements, and assesses public health-informed and evidence-based prevention policy, practices, programs and processes.
• Supports healthy climate/culture to eliminate harassment, sexual violence, family violence and self-directed harm using a public health perspective and socio-ecological theoretical lens.
• This involves an integrated, multi-agency, and collaborative approach with other Wings/Regions, Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), and local programs with a nexus to integrated primary prevention (IPP) efforts.

How you will be evaluated

EVALUATION METHODS: Each applicant considered to possess the minimum qualification requirements will be further evaluated in accordance with the procedures outlined in SDNG Technician Pamphlet 335-T and subsequent MOAs. BASIS FOR RATING: Qualified candidates will be assigned to one of three quality categories: "Best- Qualified", "Well-Qualified", "Qualified".

"Best-Qualified" Level. Candidate possesses the qualifications that substantially exceed the basic requirements of the position and would allow the candidate to perform effectively in the position almost immediately or with a minimum of training and/or orientation. "Well-Qualified" Level.

Candidate possesses the qualifications that exceed the basic requirements of the position and would allow the candidate to perform effectively in the position within a reasonable period of time (3-6 months). "Qualified" Level. Candidate possesses the qualifications that meet the basic requirements of the position.

5 POINT VETERANS' PREFERENCE: You MUST submit a copy of your DD 214 which includes Character of Service (usually Member-4 copy).

If you are currently active duty, you may submit written documentation (certification) from your branch of service certifying that you are expected to be discharged or released from active duty under honorable conditions no later than 120 days after the date the certification is signed.

The certification should also include when your terminal leave will begin, your rank and dates of active-duty service.

What to expect next
