About the Position: This position is located within Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA; located at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Branch Medical Clinic. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced Leave Accrual may be authorized.

What you will do
- Performs medical screening examinations in an inpatient or outpatient setting for patients of all ages.
- Examines patients and performs initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.
- Determines the need for and orders laboratory tests, X-rays and other procedures necessary to complete assessment of the patient.
- Diagnoses disease, illness disorder or injury.
- Prescribes for and treats a variety of diseases, disorders and injuries.
- Position may require incumbent to provide preoperative and postoperative care, and may work as first or second assistants during major surgery.
Education
