About the role
You will direct a team in negotiating and executing complex IAAs. You will drive strategic collaboration by negotiating IAAs with federal partners, managing G-Invoicing processes and serving as a critical liaison connecting the Science Mission Directorate with finance, procurement, and legal offices. Your oversight ensures seamless agreement management and compliance.
Your leadership and interagency collaboration directly support and advance NASA's strategic scientific missions and partnerships.
What you will do

- Primary liaison connecting Science Mission Directorate (SMD) leadership, Resources Management Division, critical NASA agency teams, Outside Buyers, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of Procurement (OP), and the Office of General Counsel.
- Manage and determine the appropriate IAA agreement types.
- Coordinate, collect, and process IAAs across all SMD and NASA stakeholders, systems, and partner platforms.
- Lead complex trading partner negotiations for IAAs within Government-Invoicing (G-Invoicing) and other commonly used federal systems, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and smooth processing.
- Assess and manage Information Technology requirements for internal SMD-wide IAA management systems.
- Ensure that SMD remains fully synchronized with federal G-Invoicing requirements and maintain all corresponding system updates.
