About the role

About the Position: This position serves as a supervisor at a large Lock and Dam facility located within the IMTS, exercising first line supervisory responsibility over a staff of full time and seasonal lock and dam operators.

What you will do

• Oversee lock and dam operations and maintenance, assigning tasks to a diverse crew working rotating shifts.
• Plan and adjust work schedules and resources to meet operational priorities and resolve issues.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and inspect work quality to ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage employee performance, training, leave, and disciplinary actions.
• Serve as acting site supervisor and manage credit card purchases in absence of Lockmaster.

This is an Engineers and Scientists Career Field position. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement.
