Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

What you will do

  • WARR-Semper Fit Fitness Centers to include KBay Main Gym, Kulia, Camp Smith, and other Semper Fit Divisions as needed.
  • Performs and/or assists in the operation of the recreation activity.
  • Typical assignments may include establishing schedules to ensure adequate cleaning and good order of the equipment and appearance of the facilities, applying rules and regulations to all patrons of the facility to include those within the facility attending other events.
  • Maintains supplies and notifies management of needs within the retail, custodial, or labor.
  • Creating and maintaining the schedule for front desk employees to ensure the facility is correctly staffed at all times.
  • May assist in maintaining routine reports and/or performing clerical, custodial and/or general maintenance duties as needed.
  • Performs related administrative tasks such as preparing work orders for routine maintenance and purchase orders for supplies.
  • In the absence of superiors, exercises leadership of on-duty fitness staff members.

  • Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations.
  • Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.

  • Alerts the higher-level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
  • Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
  • Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
  • Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
