What you will do

• Serves as a technical specialist with primary expertise in environmental compliance and environmental resources relative to the assessment of the environmental impacts of Civil Works, military, and Regulatory (permits) projects.
• Performs environmental analyses include assessing the impacts of proposed projects on the human environment.
• Contribute to the preparation of remediation designs methods for the organization.
• Contribute to solving remediation planning and design problems with soil and groundwater contaminants Serve as an Environmental Professional for the organization.
• Participate in review conferences as required by either design or review status.

Education

What to expect next

This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest (subject to available budget) if the selecting official determines the relocation is in the best interests of the government.
