About the Position: This position is with the Radiology Department in Madigan Army Medical Center located in Tacoma, WA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Advance in Hire may be authorized.

This is available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

What you will do

• Independently difficult and complex diagnostic procedures.
• Perform procedures such as bone densitometry, cardiovascular and interventional procedures , selective venography, carotid arteriograms, cholangiography, lumbar, thoracic, and cervical myelography.
• Perform examinations of head, trunk, and extremities for routine physical examinations and for diagnosis of illness or injuries Maintain records of patients examined, examinations performed, views taken, and technical factors used.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
