About the role
This position serves as an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic within the Facilities Management Service at the Sierra Nevada Health Care System in Reno, Nevada.
The Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance and repairing all HVAC/R systems (heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration) equipment and controls.

The Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP) and Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP) provide eligible displaced VA competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
