About the role
Please note: There is no pay associated with this position. This position serves as Without Compensation (WOC) Research Health Science Specialist within the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The WOC - Research Health Science Specialist will provide scientific support and coordination on several VA projects as directed.
They will handle project questions and problem independently in coordination with the Principle Investigator.

- Major Duties: Will conduct post-processing/analyses of MRI, DTI, fMRI, and MEG data using various software (AFNI, FSL, FreeSurfer, MatLab, MRILAB, SEGLAB, Fast-Vestal).
- Provide summarized files of neuroimaging data analyses for statistical analyses.
- Prepare graphs/figures of neuroimaging data for scientific presentations, manuscripts, and grants.
- Maintain/trouble shoot Linux operating systems; provide training/consultative services to project personnel.

Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

What to expect next
