About the role

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D3021000 and is part of the IL 182 AW, National Guard.

What you will do

• As a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR (TITLE 32), GS-0303-5/6/7, you will assist the lead CSS in managing daily administrative and unit-level support, execute assigned programs in line with the Personnel Services Delivery Guide (PSDG) and support training of personnel to maintain mission readiness and compliance with Air Force policies.
• Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Serve as a program analyst with responsibility for a variety of management and program analysis functions.
• Gather and analyze a variety of program data, prepares and presents analytical summaries, and makes recommendations for action based on findings.
• Develop, analyze, and advise on the effectiveness of work methods and procedures.
• Prepare detailed plans, justifications, and schedules for the conduct of studies.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents on study findings and recommendations.
• Prepare and deliver briefings to senior management on study findings and recommendations.
• Utilize a variety of software applications and automated systems to track, analyze, and report on program data.

Requirements

• This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the Illinois National Guard and in the military grade listed in the announcement.

• Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
• Dual-status positions require Military Membership and adherence to professional development requirements, including training and certifications, to ensure readiness and compliance with National Guard standards.
• Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
