Description Under general supervision, manufactures, installs, repairs and removes traffic signs and markers. Examples of Duties Assembles signposts, hangers, and cuts sign blanks for street and traffic signs. Lays out designs and applies sheeting to traffic sign blanks and markers. Applies billposters to small billboards. Installs fixed or portable traffic signs by bolting hangers to existing poles or installs new poles in sidewalks or ground.
