About the role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a Military Technician position with the 63rd Readiness Division, Area Maintenance Support Activity 29 located at Camp Pendleton, California.

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest. New Army Reserve Military Technicians may be authorized moving expenses to their first official duty station.
To be eligible to receive moving expenses, you must be a newly appointed Federal civilian employee or have a minimum of a 3-day break in service from previous Federal civilian employment.
Recruitment, retention, and/or relocation incentive, advance in-hire rates, advanced leave accrual, and creditable service for leave accrual may be authorized when determined to be in the best interest of the government. Student loan repayment may be authorized. Salary negotiations for candidates new to Federal service may be authorized.
Credit for Prior Non-Federal Work Experience and Certain Military Service for determining Annual Leave Accrual Rate may be authorized.
