About the role

This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC, Position Description Number NGD1194000 and is part of CSMS 2. This is a Title 32, excepted service position. AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: - Members of the South Dakota Army National Guard or those eligible to join.

What you will do

• This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility.
• The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, inspection, and/or overhaul of a variety of combat, tactical, commercial, and special purpose vehicles and equipment.

EVALUATION METHODS: Each applicant considered to possess the minimum qualification requirements will be further evaluated in accordance with the procedures outlined in SDNG Technician Pamphlet 335-T and subsequent MOAs.
