About the role
The incumbent serves as the primary advisor to the Assistant Director for Compensation Service Quality Assurance on quality review operations, data-driven analysis, workload management, and continuous quality improvement across the national compensation claims-processing enterprise.
The incumbent leads quality operations teams and provides expert guidance on compensation claims adjudication, appeals, Higher-Level Reviews applicable statutes and regulations and quality assurance methodology.

- Represents the Assistant Director and Compensation Service leadership in forums, workgroups, and interagency meetings.
- Delivers technical briefings and recommendations to senior VA officials and collaborates with VBA, VHA, VA Office of General Counsel, Veterans Service Organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Compressed/Flexible: Not Available Telework: This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only.
