About the Position: MRDC is now part of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Research & Development (R&D). We are the medical materiel developer, with responsibility for medical research, development and acquisition. What you will do
- Serves as the senior logistics systems analyst liaison between Department of War agencies.
- Maintains the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support / LogiCole systems.
- Supports enterprise-wide logistics functions across supply, inventory, equipment, maintenance, facilities, and system administration.
- Provides systems expertise to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics/G4.
- Identifies and resolves systemic issues.
- Assist with annual audit compliance.
- Prepares actions responding to internal reviews and agency findings.
- Guides medical supply chain management, supply accountability policies, and purchasing strategies.
- Reviews of Medical Surgical Prime Vendor contracts.
- Oversees integration of new and existing logistics systems.
- Coordinates with the Drug Enforcement Administration on inventory issues.
- Conducts assistance visits to assess financial compliance and supply accountability, including budget, hazardous waste management, and controlled substance procedures.
- Represents the Command at Equipment Validation Review Board.
- Reviews and approves equipment change.
- Validates requirements and justification documents with units.
