What you will do

• Provides leadership to subordinates and technical guidance to executive/management level representatives from the Military Services, DCMA, and other Government Agencies.
• Directs a team of quality assurance professionals, overseeing daily activities, managing workloads, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Evaluates contractor manufacturing systems and compliance with complex technical requirements and industry standards, such as ISO 9000 or AS 9100.
• Implements continuous process improvement techniques to enhance surveillance over defense contractors and ensure full contract compliance.
• Authorizes final product acceptance on behalf of the government for major defense programs and critical supply procurements.
• Presents technical briefings to senior leaders and stakeholders to secure approvals and resolve highly complex manufacturing or quality issues.
• Authors and reviews critical management reports, contractual documents, and policy inputs to solve problems across multiple disciplines.

What to expect next
