About the role

About the Position: This position serves as the Network Assistant Director, Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Clinical Operations with responsibility for leading the Clinical Direction of the Network or Defense Health Network, located at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth VA, Clinical Operations.

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

  • Identify developmental and training needs of employees; provides and/or arranges for needed development and training.
  • Analyze organizational and operational problems and develops solutions.
  • Provide broad program policy options and policy research that assure clarity of policy direction.
