About the Position: This position is located within the Guthrie Army Health Clinic at Fort Drum, New York. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.

Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

What you will do

• Supervise and reconcile department contracts and pharmacy support systems.
• Initiate, review, and process procurement requests for pharmaceutical supplies.
• Perform or direct others to ordering, receipt, and storing of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Serve as a procurement agent for the Department of Pharmacy using prime vendors(s), contracts, delegated PBA, and/or credit cards authority and procedures to purchase required drugs.
• Plan work on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis to be accomplished by technicians within the pharmacy.
• Develop training plans to teach basic procedures and utilization of the computer system(s) to newly assigned staff.
• Serve as a security manager to ensure security of the pharmacy stockroom.
• Coordinate and assist with medication recall in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Prepare periodic reports to the Chief Department of Pharmacy that provide information relative to reverse medication distribution.
