About the role
The incumbent of this position supervises a team of passport specialists within the Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs.
Under the overall supervision of an Adjudication Manager, the incumbent supervises the acceptance and adjudication of passport applications and authorization of issuance to qualified American citizens and nationals as provided by the laws and regulations of the United States.

- Assists in the development and delivery of fraud training for agency/ center staff and works with the Fraud Program Manager (FPM) to provide additional fraud prevention training.

Your score from the external assessment ( Supervisory) will remain on file for 180 days, allowing you to apply for multiple DOS-announced positions without needing to retake the assessments. Knowledge of the statutes, rules and regulations that govern the examination and adjudication of passport applications. Ability to identify inconsistencies in information/applications.
