About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. These positions are located at Fort Drum, New York. Two positions are available.

One within the Family Medicine Department and One within the Orthopedic Department at Guthrie Army Health Clinic at Fort Drum, New York. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies may be filled from this announcement.

What you will do

  • Oversee the scope of practice and provision of nursing services within the ambulatory clinic.
  • Advise the senior leadership on nursing matters; review, recommends changes, and assist in the development of regulations, procedures, and other matters.
  • Serve as a clinic nursing subject matter expert and performs direct patient nursing care as needed.
  • Promote and maintain good public relations, both internal and external to the hospital.
  • Provide oversight for the day-to-day management of assigned nursing personnel within the health clinic.
  • Evaluate work performance of subordinates; give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both technical and administrative matters.
