What you will do

  • Develops, directs, manages, and coordinates the logistics and facilities management, and business process management operations of the organization.
  • Develops local policies and procedures pertaining to facility real property, safety, transportation, property management and supply operations.
  • The position must have knowledge and ability to apply international laws, regulations and cultural context of construction locations and customs logistics.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of operations supervised in terms of mission accomplishment, quality, and quantity standards, procedural, policy and regulatory compliance and technical competence.
  • Advises the director and other high-level stakeholders in the process of developing and designing the organization to meet the DISA mission.

Education

There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-15 grade level.

  • The certification should also include your rank, dates of active duty service and what the condition of discharge is thought to be.

A one-year probationary or trial period may be required. This position is subject to completion of a one-year probationary period for assignment to a supervisory position. We may use this announcement to fill additional vacancies within 90 days of the closing date.
