About the role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position provides comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the Director and staff, managing communications, scheduling, travel, correspondence, records, training coordination and preparing personnel actions.

- Arranges for conferences, including such matters as location, schedule, agenda and attendance list and assembles background material.
- Makes necessary arrangements for travel, arranging schedules of visits, making reservations, notifying organizations and officials to be visited, and submitting travel vouchers and reports.
- Maintains control records on incoming correspondence and action documents and follows up on work in process to ensure timely reply or action.
- Reviews documents prepared for signature of or coordination with Director for conformance with regulations, grammar, format, and special Directorate policies.
- Reviews incoming correspondence, publications, regulations, and directives which may affect the Directorate and uses initiative to obtain clarification of instructions from originating offices or appropriate focal points when necessary.
