About this unit Intermediate Care Unit is a 24-bed unit. All beds are private and have telemetry monitoring. The unit admits patients aged 15 through end of life. IMC sees a wide variety of diagnoses including but not limited to heart failure, respiratory illness, renal failure, and post-heart catheterization patients.
