What you will do
- Operates RecTrac terminal and is responsible for change fund, advance turn-ins and cash receipts.
- Checks patron identification to assure that only those authorized are granted admission.
- Ensures that the age level of children admitted meets the requirement of the movie rating.
- Ensures that there is an adequate number of tickets, receipts, or vouchers on hand.
- Prepares food and beverage items stocks merchandise and supplies.
- Maintains food and beverage equipment, display case and theater area.
- Insures proper food and beverage storage.
- Advises appropriate supervisors of any broken or damaged merchandise, customer requests, complaints or disturbances, fast- or slow-moving items, price marking problems, suspected shop lifting or theft and related information.
- Conducts monthly and annual inventories and works with vendors on a regular basis to keep snack bar fully supplied.
- Will aid and assists the manager in the control of the patrons.
- This includes ensuring the patrons do not cause disturbances.
- Makes recommendation to the manager concerning incidents.
- Performs one or more of the following duties: Cleans storerooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas.
- Sweeps and dry mops floors, using brooms, mops and lightweight vacuum cleaners.
- Washes walls, windows, and blinds that can be reached without climbing ladders or scaffolds.
- Keeps rest rooms in clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
- Cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes lavatories, urinals, and toilet bowls.
- Cleans mirrors, sinks, and water fountains.
- Replaces deodorizers, toilet tissue, hand towels, and soap.
- Maintains a stock of cleaning materials and equipment and notifies supervisor when more are needed.
- Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
- Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.
- Takes action to solve problems quickly.
- Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
- Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
- Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
- Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
- Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.
- Performs other related duties as required/assigned.
