What you will do

  • Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains policies and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.
  • Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area.
  • Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities equipment.
  • Opens and/or closes facilities by locking /unlocking doors and windows and assuring security system is operable.
  • Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users.
  • Arranges furniture and equipment for various types and sizes of events; put up and take down special event decorations.
  • Polices interior and exterior areas of building and grounds and performs general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/pools/outdoor courts ready for use.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position.

Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay.

When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
