What you will do
- Performs duties associated with the administration of the quality assurance provisions of contracts by designing, implementing, and maintaining a risk-based surveillance program and assessment plan.

- Implement the overall Quality Program for multiple products and services in support of U.S. Government acquisition at one or more supplier facilities.
- Ensures contractors comply with all requirements related to the design, manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and modernization of a variety of items for contractor and customer activities throughout the world.
- Independently audits and surveys contractors’ processes to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met.
- Investigates and provide data on customer complaints and concerns regarding contractors’ quality performance and processes that impact user satisfaction.
- Provides technical support to Agency team members, assisting in the analysis of contract related issues to determine the best course of action to support the contractor and customers.

For current permanent DCMA employees eligible as a Promotion, this position will be filled as a Temporary Promotion NTE one year and may be extended up to a total of five years or converted to a permanent promotion without further competition.
For current permanent DCMA employees eligible as a Reassignment, this position will be filled as a Reassignment or Detail and you may be granted Administrative Return Rights to your previous position.
If a current DCMA employee is selected, the employee will continue to work from their current duty location (excluding plants or contractor facilities, unless the position requires a physical presence within those facilities) or within the commuting area of their current duty location.
Non-supervisory positions at the same/equivalent grade level of the employee's position of record will be filled by temporary detail. If an employee is temporarily detailed to a position in a different location, the employee's official worksite and associated pay entitlements are not affected.
For all others, if selected, this would be a Temporary/Time-Limited Appointment NTE one year, and extended in increments of up to one year, NTE a total of three years. The selected applicant will be required to sign a written agreement acknowledging the conditions of this temporary assignment and that they may be released from this position upon management discretion.
