About the role

This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration in Transmission Product Management & Market Analysis (TSBM) organization of Commercial Policy and Implementation (TSB), Transmission Marketing and Sales (TS), Transmission Services (T), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).

A successful candidate in the Public Utilities Specialist position will serve as a Product Manager responsible for lifecycle, strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for products or product lines.

What you will do

  • Provide expertise in the development of BPA transmission products, the product lifecycle, and resultant processes that value chain service delivery participants adhere to in the business and how it fits within the decision framework.
  • Drive the formation of defined products and features with corresponding internal and external metrics for success working with Market Analysis and various line organizations that participate in the value chain of service delivery.
  • Provide leadership in maintaining a constructive and collaborative product management environment with other internal organizations, and external customers.
  • Assembles and manages cross-functional teams of value chain service delivery functions to deliver integrated design specifications in order to satisfy market requirements.
  • Lay out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands utilizing analyses of market and competitive conditions.
  • Assist market analysts in developing information and developing requirements documentation reflecting the market's needs so that value chain service delivery functions effectively.
  • Monitor and control the execution of the product development plan and all approved changes, gains approval for changes, finalizes documentation.

Requirements

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the eligibility and qualification requirements above.
