About the role

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER, Position Description Number D1255000 and is part of the KS Surface Maintenance Manager, Kansas Army National Guard.

What you will do

• As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER, GS-5801-09, you will establish plans and schedules for maintenance and repair, using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment such as combat vehicles, heavy ­duty engineering and mobile equipment, tracked vehicles, towed and self-propelled artillery, communications and electronic equipment, guided missile systems, and small arms.
• Implements maintenance plans and monitors progress of accomplishments.
• Using readiness, production and management reports available from the current automation support program and/or manual system, provides status of equipment, maintenance actions in progress, and location of equipment as required or requested.
• Responsible for data input of work order information, status changes, supply updates, and other pertinent information.
• Makes on-the-spot adjustments to repair priorities necessitated by unscheduled maintenance requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work Schedule: This position works on a 4/10's compressed work schedule with four 10-hour days, Tuesday-Friday each week of the pay period.
• Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.
• Telework: ELIGIBLE FOR SITUATIONAL TELEWORK ONLY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY AND PRESCRIBED "UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK"

What to expect next
