THIS IS AN ARIZONA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA). This position is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, Arizona National Guard under PDT5806000.

  • The purpose of this position is to provide planning, scheduling and control of aircraft maintenance through a variety of support maintenance shops.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics): 1. Knowledge of assigned aircraft, support systems, and equipment status reporting.

2.Knowledge of aircraft production control procedures and operations. 3.Knowledge of requesting necessary support services such as emergency personnel, fuel and defuel, and civil engineer support 4.Knowledge and ability to speak on the radio, dispatch shops, and input data into IMDS, G-TIMS, and EMOC.

5.Ability to maintain electronic and manual visual aids depicting status of maintenance action in progress, aircraft location, and daily flying information.

What to expect next

In accordance with 5 CFR §335.106, Veteran's Preference will be considered for vacancies under merit promotion when an agency accepts applications from individuals outside its own workforce. To receive the 5 point preference (TP) rating the individual must provide member copy 4 of their Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD 214) for verification.
