THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a POLICE OFFICER T32, PDD2155000 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, National Guard.

What you will do

• This position is located at the 162D Wing in Tucson, Arizona.
• The primary purpose of this position is to protect Federal property from hazards such as sabotage, espionage, trespass, theft, fire, and accident or willful damage and destruction.
• To maintain law and order, preserve the peace, and protect life and civil rights within the jurisdiction of the military installation.
• THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

Education

To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.

How you will be evaluated

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics): 1. Knowledge of security and security forces requirements, procedures, and tactics to support installation physical security. 2.

Knowledge of firearms and tactics for employing them in emergency situations. 3. Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

4. Knowledge of applicable Air Force, Department of Defense law enforcement, and security rules, regulations, instructions, practices, principles and procedures, including force protection, integrated base defense, anti-terrorism, and physical security. 5.

Knowledge of police officer procedures and operating methods to independently perform the full range of Security Forces activities, to include protection level resources, installation entry controls, armed responses and dispatch duties.

What to expect next
