Description Purpose/Description Under the direct supervision of a Command Officer, Police Officers perform professional police work for the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. All new hires will be assigned to the newly constructed Adult Detention Facility at the Wayne County Criminal Justice Center on any available shift.
