About the role
About the Position: This position is located at Fort Drum, New York, Army Health Clinic Guthrie. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
What you will do
- Provide medical services including examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
- Address the biological, social, and environmental influences of the developing patient, with an impact of disease and dysfunction on development.
- Provide first contact, continuous, comprehensive primary care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
- Coordinate and/or integrate care across all elements of the healthcare system (e.g., subspecialty care, hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes) and the patient's community (e.g., family, public and private community).
- Complete required records (both paper and electronic) pertaining to all medical services.
- Provides technical oversight of clinical staff (e.g. nurses, social workers, therapists, and various technicians) assigned to the medical home to enhance team-based care.
