About the role

About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service 1-Year Fellowship in Transfusion Medicine is preferred.

What you will do

• Provide transfusion medicine services.
• Oversight of blood donations and creating FDA approved blood products.
• Provide expert consultation and consults with clinicians concerning complex pathological diagnoses.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities of the laboratory.
• Teach Physician residents.
• Provide surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy service.
