Orientation Requirements ICU orientation includes up to 11 weeks of training with a preceptor 7am-7:30pm on weekdays & rotating every third weekend. About the unit: The Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) is a 36-bed ICU located in the Meijer Heart Center specializing in highly acute post-cardiac and advanced heart failure patients. Nurse techs are able to care for a wide range of patients and devices including heart/lung transplant patients, post-operative open-heart patients, and more.…
