About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What you will do
- Perform duties of Head Nurse, plan, coordinate, and collaborate with other health care team members, regarding the activities required to meet the patient's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
- Implement nursing care based on desired patient outcomes, customer satisfaction and evidence-based practice.
- Screen patient charts and perform initial patient assessment prior to admission.
- Educate patients about when to seek medical/nursing intervention.
- Accept consults for the education of patients in the outpatient setting.
- Perform the following supervisory responsibilities over a subordinate staff which may consist of vocational nurses and/or nursing assistants.
