About the role

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Liberty Club, RAF Lakenheath, UK. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week with no minimum guaranteed per week.

What you will do

• Applicants will be reviewed and referred every 10 days until the close of this announcement.
• Posting may close prior to the closing date if all vacancies are filled.
• Operate a variety of motor vehicles that weigh up to 10,000 pounds to transport and deliver pizza, sandwiches, soft drinks, beer and a limited variety of hot and cold items to customers located on and off RAF Lakenheath.
• Accepts orders over the telephone or fax machine.
• Submits order to cooks and assembles order for transport.
• Performs and documents vehicle operator maintenance.
• Assists food service employees in the preparation of simple food items for deliver/carryout/restaurant.
• Accepts payment and makes change.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.

All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit. Probationary period may be required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from hiring preferences and priority consideration eligible.

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

LQA is not authorized. Post Allowance is authorized for Regular Full Time employment category. This is a Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) position carrying out Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) activities for the Air Force and Space Force.
